Website under self-assembly
A new academic year and a new TAB lab website coming very soon! Till then, here is some nice TLC art!
New paper on “Supramolecular Electronic Materials”
A new macrocycle-fullerene host-guest complex that acts as a superior semiconductor within an organic field effect transistor (OFET) device. This work into new supramolecular assemblies for organic electronic materials was done in collaboration with the group of Prof. C. Nuckolls at Columbia University. New paper: The Green Box!
We have just had a paper accepted for publication in JACS about a new macrocycle that can bind and undergo supramolecular electron transfer to C60 fullerene. The macrocycle is green and box shaped – hence its nickname, “The Green Box”! You can read about it here: https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/jacs.9b10929
New PhD position available!
Funded PhD to start October 2020 (UK/EU students – flyer below). Many exciting research projects in supramolecular chemistry are available (machines, sensors and materials). Please get in touch for more details or to apply!
